Steven Cone

Pastor, Dominion, CLGI

Steven Cone is a pastor at Dominion, CLGI and has been in ministry for over 25 years. He is also a 2024 Kettering Foundation Dayton Democracy Fellow. As a bi-vocational community leader, he is excited about the possibility of connecting his passion for community and welcome with his work in churches and as a veteran. An Air Force veteran who retired after 23 years of service, Cone continues his career by serving as a civilian technical analyst for FMLA 88th Comptroller Squadron. He participated in the 2022 Leadership Dayton program and was a nominee for Civilian of the Year in 2018. Cone has an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Cone is hopeful about the role churches can play in engaging people in the work of democracy.
