Alexandria J. Maloney
Director of External Affairs
Alexandria J. Maloney is the director of external affairs and a member of the external affairs team at the Kettering Foundation. In this role Maloney works with the chief external affairs officer on strategies for impact and mission advancement across key audiences. She has a focus on developing and strengthening strategic partnerships and programming.
Maloney has over nine years of experience in the social impact space, most recently serving as the president of Black Professionals in International Affairs and as a visiting lecturer at Cornell University’s Brooks School of Public Policy.
Her past experience has also included the US Department of Defense and the White House Initiative for HBCUs. She is a member of the Truman National Security Project, the European Leadership Network, the Council on Foreign Relations Young Professional Briefing Series, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and Alfred Street Baptist Church.
Maloney holds a BA in international affairs from John Cabot University, an MA in international studies from Morgan State University, and an MPA from Cornell University.
Her expertise and interests span a host of matters, including foreign affairs, defense, diplomacy, diversity and inclusion, arts and culture, youth, women, and public engagement.
